Beowulf

In Beowulf, the interesting alliterations, the vivid descriptions and use of imagery of the characters and their surroundings really brought the poem to life. Beowulf contains the necessary characteristics of a hero, the loyalty, bravery and fighter's skill. At times, Beowulf seemed a bit too proud for his own good, however, everything Beowulf did, was to help people and gain some fame for himself. This is definitely an epic worth reading.

  1. Yes, I agree that at some times that Beowulf was a bit too proud and to arrogant, but I believe that it was because the author wanted to differ him from the other epic heros.
